Benefits of HTML over Wordpress platform

At times, I prefer using pure HTML, CSS and Javascript codes instead of Wordpress especially for single page website or landing page.

Here are some of the benefits using HTML
  • Lightweight & less messy codes
  • Faster Loading even without cache or CDN
  • Content are mostly static
  • Basic functionality like form submission, pop-up modal, dynamic content changes, mobile responsive, etc can be easily implement via basic Javascript
  • No regular theme or plugins updates
In summary, what I wanted is just a simple, clean and fast loading page. Key is to get customer sales and/or leadgen. Nothing more.

To me, Wordpress is great for blogging, dynamic content or larger websites, and  implementing advance functions eg. shopping cart, auto-backup, security monitoring, payment gateway at ease.

Piano Malaysia Website Revamp

Keep moving on since my last post 3yrs ago.
Today, I would like to reveal one of my piano website that has been converted from HTML to Wordpress platform.

Fire Extinguisher Malaysia

Recently I had assisted a friend of mine in launching his new product series; the portable fire extinguisher. This niche is very new to me, and I barely got a chance to use any of these products unless during the product demonstrations.

Our no.1 priority is to educate the public and avoid direct focus on selling these fire fighting products especially when comes to B2C segments. Hence, we started-off creating the website with some demonstration videos, 'how to use' instructions for each extinguisher and in order to boost viewers' confident, we also do publish 3rd parties certifications as a proof of product safety, eco-friendly and ease of use.

As for traffics, we decided to go for Adwords (to target in-demand visitors) while waiting for SEOed webpages to take affect in the SERPS.

Just a little over 2 months period, spending not more than RM1K, our friend here (the product owner) has started receiving potential leads (both calls and emails) that turn into purchase orders after several phone conversations and meetings.

Through out the process, me and my friend had learn a lot marketing these extinguishers online; what are their interest group, browsing behaviours, what are they looking for and solutions to their needs.

Overall, it's a great project with great experiences. FYI, we are now in the Optimising Stage aiming to achieve more quality LEADS (both B2B, B2C) via better customer acquisition (ROI and higher conversion rate).

Urban 360 - Website Revamp

Hi Readers,

Its been over a year I had so-called abandoned this site. Well hope i can keep-up updating more about my on-going projects here more often.

To continue my long lost journey, here I would like to reveal one of my revamp website known as Urban 360 Sri Gombak. From the early days, I remember posted one HTML version of it during its launch (see here, I still keep the old url as well). And now, it was fully revolutionised to become mobile friendlier Wordpress website.

Aimed to target both owners and also tenant/buyer which are interested in this property. So far, this site has been actively converting leads into transactions by Kenny (a certified agent).

Its been a few weeks apart without posting any new updates.
