Fire Extinguisher Malaysia

Recently I had assisted a friend of mine in launching his new product series; the portable fire extinguisher. This niche is very new to me, and I barely got a chance to use any of these products unless during the product demonstrations.

Our no.1 priority is to educate the public and avoid direct focus on selling these fire fighting products especially when comes to B2C segments. Hence, we started-off creating the website with some demonstration videos, 'how to use' instructions for each extinguisher and in order to boost viewers' confident, we also do publish 3rd parties certifications as a proof of product safety, eco-friendly and ease of use.

As for traffics, we decided to go for Adwords (to target in-demand visitors) while waiting for SEOed webpages to take affect in the SERPS.

Just a little over 2 months period, spending not more than RM1K, our friend here (the product owner) has started receiving potential leads (both calls and emails) that turn into purchase orders after several phone conversations and meetings.

Through out the process, me and my friend had learn a lot marketing these extinguishers online; what are their interest group, browsing behaviours, what are they looking for and solutions to their needs.

Overall, it's a great project with great experiences. FYI, we are now in the Optimising Stage aiming to achieve more quality LEADS (both B2B, B2C) via better customer acquisition (ROI and higher conversion rate).
